Julia Thompson has been in the dance world for the past 22 years. Growing up in Kelley’s Fine Arts Dance Company (Florence, SC) competing in tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, modern, ballroom, and more, her experience goes far beyond the beaten path. Thompson graduated high school in 2018 and attended Sewanee: The University of the South in Sewanee, TN on an Arts Fellowship and studied Ballet, Modern, African, and more forms of dance under the guidance of Courtney World, B.A., M.F.A. In 2021, Thompson decided to continue her dance career at the College of Charleston and joined the College of Charleston Cougarettes - a team that would then become D1 Hip Hop National Champions that very same year. Here, she met Studio Director, Ashley and they’ve been working and dancing together ever since.

Here at The Warehouse, Julia is the resident Media Consultant. In this role, she pulls from years in Social Media, and her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications. She’s excited to support The Warehouse, not just with her dance background, but her professional experience as well.
